A native of Japan, Maya is an expression artist, singer, songwriter, and explorer of sound and vibration.
She has been sharing music as she travels, performing in various styles in concerts, sound session and art exhibitions.
Her intuitive style of playing is combined with her original songs and improvisation, tuning into the surrounding environment, with the audience, the space and the nature around.
Her bicultural upbringing developed a unique perspective, which reflects on her music and her practice.
She invites us all on a quest through sound, to explore, express and connect with our authentic nature.
